that's why you have some good friends/teachers/family members to write it for you. Or jot down notes from them and summarize it yourself.

Yup I'm kind of in the same boat switching to a results resume. Just remember to add lots of quantifiable results, lots of numbers etc. And honestly the best way to get a new job is through networking.

Linkedin. Have a good resume and always have it handy. Tailor it for different jobs, if you want to work for A Widgets company, change a line item that fits that job better. Call people and tell them I AM INTERESTED IN YOUR COMPANY. It helps. Get a contact. Write a letter.
