How good is HD torrents? I have some What.cd invites but not sure I really need this one.
I've used bitsoup.org for years. Almost all new movies come out on all sites in various qualities from your 700mb-1.3gb dvdrips to the 2-3 gig brrips. I never bother with the huge 4+ gig rips or copies. Does this site have lots of older hard to find movies/shows?
HD-Torrents is great for very high-quality HD-TV and Blu-Ray rips.... 720p and 1080p only.
I wouldn't say it has a lot of hard-to-find movies or shows, since its strictly a Hi-Def-only site... but if it has been released on Blu-Ray or HD-DVD, you can bet that HD-Torrents has a very high-quality rip of it.
Pretty much all movies are 4.36 GB and up, and all TV show episodes start in the 700 MB range... so if you're not big into extreme quality, it might not be for you.
Again, I have invites to two private bittorent communites that I'm looking to potentially swap for a reliable, private, music site.
HD-Torrents is a phenomenal resource for Hi-Def movies, documentaries, some music and music-video, and a good amount of adult material. Ranging from 720p files starting at 500MB for TV/XXX and 4 gigs for movies, up to complete BluRay rips that can go up to 50-60+ easy. It has great DL speeds and uploads shows as soon as 15 minutes after they're on TV.
GOEM (Garden of Eden Movies) has HD and standard definition rips of movies TV shows. Its a smaller community but you'll find older and more rare items of interest there. Again, good speeds and quality rips.
Ratios must be kept in check on both sites. Let me know.
What.CD and Waffles.fm are great private trackers for music.
Yeah.... I had an account at Waffles, I was a productive member, seeder, and even an uploader of some awesome rare stuff. But, eventually I had all the music I needed at the time and I didn't use the service for 6+ months which I'm sure killed my account. Unfortunately my HDD with tens of thousands of songs broke down, and I need to get back in the music download game. I don't even remember my username at Waffles.
Yeah, PirateBay, ExtraTorrent, and KAT, (along with ripping off friends' iPods) can get me a large portion of that music back.... but not the real treasures and goodies I once had.
