Next three games are almost automatic losses so 9-24 here we come.

This season is officially over after these two losses against the Raptors. There's no hope left.

Will the Knicks do the right thing for once and blow it up soon ? Trade Melo for a valuable pick in the 2014 draft. Trade everyone else for any kind of picks or/and solid role players you can get.

Almost impossible to do that.

I ask myself the same questions as well. Last night I stayed up until 4:30 am just to see the Knicks lose the game they could have easily won

And I'll copy what I posted in the game thread:

After much thinking I don't even blame J.R. for taking that shot. He had a wide open three.

If the Knicks were a serious ball club with plays to run late in games I would have probably think differently.
But I look at it this way:
What if J.R. didn't shoot it ? Knicks would have probably gave it to Melo and he would have missed like he always does in his last 2 seasons. The other possibility is exactly what happened last night, their offense would have been a mess and someone would have taken a tough contested shot that has much less chance of going in than that three. And considering the Knicks IQ make or miss they would still leave like 2-3 seconds on the clock, enough for Harden to win it.
And what if we went in overtime ? There's 50% chance we'd win AT BEST.

Sorry guys,I don't blame J.R. Knicks are a mess, their basketball IQ is extremely low so I'd rather have him take that wide open three because there's a higher chance it will go in than that the Knicks will do something organized and smart at the end of the game.

I blame JR because by his own admission he didnt even know what the score was actually thought they were down 2, so his decision to shoot was merely because he had the ball.

Really? there isnt a scoreboard to look at?

But I also blame beno and fault him even moreso.

Cant hit a wide open shot when trusted, and why the hell did he pass the ball in the first place? rest the play, bring the ball out near half court, and work the clock down....get the last shot or get fouled.

JR's stupidity, Woody's lack of coaching and lack of PG play lost us that game. Firstly, if you take that shot at that moment, you'd better make it. Secondly, if you're Beno, be a ****ing PG. Can we get ONE PG that wants the ball in his hands at the end of the game? Thats PG 101. Run your team in crunch time.

Lone bright spot is that Shump appears to have regained his confidence, although he missed a wide open shot at the end too.

baffles me that jr logs major minutes with his boneheaded plays, any other team, he would get sent to the end of the bench

Usually the best player has the ball to take the shot via ISO or hit another open player.

It's amazing how crunch time comes and this team IQ just disappears

IQ doesn't disappear in crunch time. You can't lose something that you don't have.

This team always plays stupid, the only difference is that every mistake they make in crunch time is magnified.

Poor coaching. Plain and simple. You can blame a player one time. But when multiple players do the wrong thing every single time in late game situations, it's poor coaching. It's almost like we don't even practice these scenarios.
