Default Keep Jared Jeffries or let him go?

Talk about Jared's game and what you like and don't like, both offensively and defensively.

And how much the wizards should pay him

Default Jeffries

Jeffries Pros and Cons:

Pros: Can play virtually any position, Good defender w/ great length, can bring the ball up court(which Eddie loves of his forwards), high energy guy( does not have to put up stats to wow you)

Cons: Pretty much non-existent on the offensive end, suspect J,Does not really have a true NBA position

I was a big JJ hater for most of the time he was on the Wiz. Eventually he grew on me and I think if we do not keep him it is the step in the wrong direction b/c he is the teams best defender and the Wiz are terrible at D. He played well in the playoffs and caused a lot of TO's from Lebron but Lebron still killed but he is unstoppable. Again the Wiz are one of the worst at D and getting rid of the best Defender is just a step backwards.

It depends. Jeffries is the best defender on the team and very versatile, but at what price? I would not pay past 4 million per year for him. If he wants or gets more than 4 million then you can sign and trade him for another wing defender or a decent big man. I like Arenas, Jamison, Butler, Daniels, Ruffin, and Blatche. Your trade chips are Haywood, Etan Thomas, and Jarvis Hayes. I dont know how much that will get you, but you could get a better big man out of that. This team has many needs, but all wont be filled. I would definately sign Jeffries back at 4 million or under, because this team needs defense most of all.

I would try to keep him, at a modest price.

No Etan pt II here.
