Nash is a pretty decent upgrade over Nelson. Putting him with Howard would be absolutely nasty. He would be throwing alley-oops to Howard and Vince Carter all day long.
The Knick's biggest problem is our front court, not our back court. If Nash is gonna play center, then I'll take him. I don't know if you noticed, but like every game someone is getting "Dunk of the Year" on us. Nash ain't gonna protect against that.

It's because Chandler is averaging over 2 blocks a game. A better sign of our defense is how many team's front courts absolutely destroy us. We have no intimidation up front.
Our front line maybe weak, but its much better than what it was last year or the year before that. Remember, we were near the last team in the league in shot-blocking, now we lead the league in shot-blocking as a team. In my opinion Walsh has delivered in bringing a better team that fits the system his coach needs to be successful. Its not complete yet, but we're getting there. Also, the players he brought in bring defense (I'm sure that was more from Walsh's perspective than the coach). Hopefully we build as a team and create more wins. Only time will tell....Go Knicks!!!
P.S. I know one thing's for sure, I like the way the Knicks are playing way more than the heat are playing right now. D'antoni will have way more slack as long as the Heat are performing poorly. Don't get me wrong, D'antoni is still under the microscope, but he is no where near the same level of pressure as Spoelstra. But Miami will never get love from me...I still remember Charlie Ward being body slammed, Vangundy on the floor holding on to legs like they were his last breaths.
Of the three young guys that Donnie will probably offer up in trades, this is the order, I'd trade them in:
1. Randolph
2. Chandler
3. Gallinari
But if it was up to me and Denver or NO wanted to pull the trigger on Melo or CP3 trade, I'd offer em all up with no hestitation.
There is absolutely no way that New Orleans is trading Chris Paul this year. They are 11-2, and already traded away Collison this summer. If we really have plans of getting both of those players, then what we have to do is wait for the summer and sign Melo as a free agent, and then wait for the following year to start and try to make a trade for Paul at that point. Hopefully something will go wrong with the team in New Orleans, and they may look to unload him (I seriously doubt it though).
