Yes/No - Why?

If Not. You could get Outlaw.

Would make more sense with Outlaw but that still leaves the Jazz with 16 players and LHM isn't one for eating contracts. Probably would want some picks as well. Raef's expiring deal would certainly be welcome come the off season but it makes the Jazz a worse team now.

You'r not gonna win the playoffs this year anyway. Maybe go for a good free agent after this season.

Actually, this might be the Jazz' best shot at a title for a few years. Boozer, Okur, Milsap, Korver in career years. We're looking to get better now. Plus, it is hard to trade within your own division.

But...

AK+Collins+Fesenko+Koufos
for
Lafrentz+Pryzbilla

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...2~22&te=&cash=

Lafrentz would help Utah in their big upcoming free agency.
Pryzbilla is much more useful to Utah than to Portland.

Utah
Williams 36/ Price 12
Korver 24/ Brewer 12/ Miles 12
Brewer 24/ Harping 12/ Milsap 12
Boozer 32/ Okur 6/ Milsap 12
Okur 26/ Pryzbilla 22

AK could really help Portland.
He has done well on young teams.

Portland
Blake/Bayless
Roy/Frenandez
Kirilenko/Outlaw
Aldrige/Frye
Oden/Koufos/Collins/Fesenko

I might do that.
What would Portland fans think?

Could be their best shot ever but just like last year they don't seem to have any urgency. Standing pat with holes in your roster isn't going to win the west.

Don't see that happening. Collins isn't going anywhere.

Maybe but he'd leave a big hole in Portland's roster that a stiff isn't going to fill.

Maybe? He'd be fighting for minutes there too. They're deep as well.
