My First PC Build

Took me like 8 or 9 hrs figuring out all the cables, need to have a friend look it over cuz it's not starting right

I think it's valued at like 800-900 but I got it with rebates and stuff so it's more like 600-700.

The PSU starts when I push start button, but there's no display on the monitor and the fans don't start.

both cpu/case fans dont start up?

CPU Fan is ok, case fans don't start up even tho I plugged it into the PSU. I probably wired it wrong, but I don't wanna mess anything else up till my friend looks at it.

If the PSU starts and other stuff doesnt, make sure that your motherboard is properly connected. I have a feeling you are just not powering your mobo.

Mobo 24 pin is connected, cpu 8 pin is connected as well(2 4 pins).

Are you sure you connected the front panel connectors to motherboard correctly?

It looks nice. Yeah, it sounds like the motherboard isn't connected properly. Puck is showing you the right pic. Make sure they are in the proper slots..they are small and maybe hard to read on the mobo.
