So 2 of the 3 best players in the league can't win.

So where do you rank Russ that it would be insane for him to win?
Lebron, CP3, Kawhi are all on better teams and will have the better record, and similar numbers to Westbrook. With just as much impact.

No matter what video game numbers Westbrook gets, if the team is not even Top 3 nobody cares. The media won't just hand over the award.

And if you just look at the players on OKC after Westbrook, it's a pretty depressing sight. Those scrubs ain't going to 50 wins even if they are led by peak Jordan, Shaq or Wilt.

But then you realize it's just a game to this current generation, it's not some battle of will like before. They don't care about the story. All they want is a ring and they will take the best road possible, even if it's the easier road.
It really makes no sense. Especially after what happened with Lebron and Cleveland and the praise he's getting for it. Winning a title for your franhise is just more special. Getting over that hump. Overcoming the obstacles.

And it's not like OKC was some team that had no hope. They were right there. The whole thing just makes me look at him like he's a p*ssy.

It was a b*tch move no doubt. But look at it from the perspective of a young man in his 20s with millions of dollars...

Living in OKC vs Living in the Bay Area
Playing for the Thunder vs Playing for the Warriors

Who wouldn't make that decision, it's obvious Durant really didn't care THAT much about OKC, the coaching staff or his teammates. For the media all the athletes say the right stuff, but actions tell the real story.

Dude just wants to party in Cali and get rings. That nice guy persona was too fake.

Looking at it from a personal standpoint like that I could see why he would want to live in a better situation.

But from a competitive standpoint, it's the weakest thing you could ever do. I really thought he was above that, but he's just not built that way. He's not cut from that cloth. It is what it is.

I just hope he and the team fail HARD.

So you have him 4th...and you think it would be insane if he wins?

Also, don't think CP3 and Leonard will have similar numbers...agree they will have just as much impact though.

We have a different definition of insane I guess.

"Fans" like you are pathetic.

I remember you were one of the main guys rooting for the Thunder even just a couple months ago.

Now, your boy goes to the rival team and here you are with them in your avatar. Disgusting.

Shut your dickriding, bandwagon-hopping ass up.
