NOH success in keeping Lin outside of the driving lanes will be the scouting tools used by others to contain him. Its a natural progression thing and to be honest, better now than loosing playoff games. The strategy will be to isolate the leader. Its easily beatable if other guys are stepping up and hitting shots. If guys are not hitting shots it can cause confusion for Lin.

In the East its harder to run a Pheonix offense because the East play a more convoluted half court. However if JR is hot there is no other option but to go 25 feet out to guard him. Mello's man can't leave him either. Lin will have to lob more as scouting noted that he likes to bounce pass.

Lin also begins his incorporate the personnel phase. He will be going from 1st option to 3rd or even 4th option in a week. This will be a real adjustment for Lin. The All Star break will ease his mind some but the job just got more mental and now has more road blocks.

How do you see phase II developing?

If teams need to double Jeremy Lin then we're more than fine with it if he can find the open man.

J.R.Smith,Melo and Amare are all excellent offensive players and leaving any of those 3 open is a disaster for the opposing team.
