Default Gasol hitting the long ball

he apparently worked on it while rehabing

If he consistently hits from long range would it make him better than power

forwards like bosh and howard. He is a shot blocker, an above average

rebounder, a clutch player, and excellent passer and if he adds the 3ball to his

repertoire he would be the most versatile power forward in the game.

most versatile still goes to Dirk in my opinion, along with KG... but Gasol is a great player... he needs to post up more and stay inside...

The next bigman I see who becomes more dominant the farther away from the basket he decides to play will be the first.

Well maybe some role players. But star bigmen? Stay in the paint or as close as possible. League needs no more 6'11'' people taking 3s.

While it's certainly another tool for Gasol to use in his arenal. I hope that he doesn't come to rely on it. If he can use it to exploit defenses and make himself more effective on the court, it's great... but if takes away from his aggressiveness in the post and in the paint, it may not be the blessing it should be.
