Default Devoe Joseph

He is one of the most talented International Prospect, and Do you think he will become a successful player in the NBA?

Headed to Minnesota I see. #61 player on rivals. Him and Ralph Sampson III (#59 player) could end up being a great duo for Tubby.

Devoe could eventually get drafted, but I doubt he'll be a successful NBA player. He has a great shot, with great form and lift, and he's a good athlete. He has a scorer's mentality, and not only does he want to score a lot, but he wants to score fashionably as well. He's only 6'2, but he doesn't have the mentality or ballhandling skills to play point guard at this point, although a couple years in college could change that.

I see Devoe going down the same line as Rowan Barrett did. A phenom in the GTA during his high school days, doesn't fully reach the high expectations given to him, but ends up with a nice overseas career, along with being a mainstay on team canada.

I think his brother, Cory Joseph, will end up being the better player. He's not the scorer Devoe is, but he's a more impressive ballhandler and playmaker at a year younger, and he's already showed more maturity/composure than Devoe has.

I'm so happy that minnesota finally has a real coach and is on the up-swing

I've seen devoe listed at 6'3" everywehre I've looked, but yeah, he's a bit short and has no real PG skills from what I've heard and seen

if he has a growth spurt, he could be an NBA player, but most likely scenario is that he's a good college player who doesn't do much in the pros

As for his brother Cory, I agree he has more pro potential, and I'm very excited about the likelihood of Cory signing with Minnesota too.

and minnesota has already signed a likely all-american for the 09-10 season in royce white, and will likely pick up rodney williams too (borderline all-american)

Minnesota basketball has been down for way too long after the scandal under clem haskins and the hiring of that bum dan monson. But tubby is getting things straightened out in a hurry. I'm really excited.
