Re: What's stopping Lebron from being the G.O.A.T?
Being 7 feet tall.
I would take Shaq, Duncan, Hakeem over LeBron all-time because of the impact a 7 foot monster brings. They protect the rim, they score an efficient 25+ PPG, they rebound the ball at a high level, and they make all of their teammates better(both offensively and defensively).
On offense they make the defenses collapse greater than any other player so it creates open looks for everyone else. They provide a great option to throw the ball inside to when the offense is cold as hell and can't seem to get anything going.
On defense they can help their perimeter defenders by letting them funnel them towards the bigman who provides another obstacle in front of the rim.
These guys get easy points, and they prevent easy points.
LeBron is probably as good as he'll ever be. He is probably the most impactful non 7 footer of all-time in NBA History, but I will always pick the great two-way playing 7 footer over him.
