dating someone on the opposite end of the political spectrum
so there's a handful political nutjobs here that r very emotionally involved in it all that this thread is geared toward, but this question is of course open to everyone. i'm curious as to whether or not you would date or possibly marry a tribal opposite. she wouldn't be a stereotypical 'crazy' in regard to her political views (no attending rallies, no protesting, no tshirts etc.), but she would be fairly well informed about corruption, money, and the current state of politics. an anti-establishment, anti-status quo believer, if u will.
right wingers - would u date and/or be open to eventually marrying a sanders/warren supporter if she were the 'right one' for you?
leftists - would u date and/or be open to eventually marrying a trump supporter if she were the 'right one' for you?
...or are u just too stubborn and set in your ways?
again, keep in mind - the trump chick isn't your typical trailer trash and the progressive supporter isnt a typical sjw beta cuck. she's just whatever your ideal type is, only she's your political opposite.

idgaf what political stature side an attractive women with fly personality leans
that isn't even conversation gossip that's ever been brought up deep into relationships
very petty imo, keep personal politics and income to yourself

No I would never date a trump supporter. No matter how hot she was.

Unless you have only been with a couple women, or haven’t moved around at all, I’d say most people have had sex with, dated, and some even have married political opposites.

I don't think you have to worry about that.

Re: dating someone on the opposite end of the political spectrum
I'm over all left leaning...my wife is right leaning. We agree on some and disagree on others. We mostly avoid talking about politics. I support the left-wing president we currently have in MX, she absolutely loathes him

How could she be right for you if her belief system is different? It's possible you'll click with the person but there will be differences that are far greater than religion. Religion you can work on cohabitation through learning and practicing their religion. With politics you can't possibly do that. Do people do it? Yes. But, it changes depending on how much influence the person has over you. Abortion? Gun rights? If you're opposed strongly on it but they want to implement it into your life, your flexibility easily can hinder the relationship.
If both people don't care to talk about it or avoid it, then you really aren't politically involved as you thought you were.

Political opposite, especially more extreme ends, usually means opposite in a lot of core values too. Dating is fine but marrying someone with a lot of core values difference is just asking for trouble down the road.

People today value their political ideals over intimate relationships. It will never work long term. People can't be friends over a president. How can they be spouses?
