Since I'm not a huge OKC fan, per se, my first thought when I heard this news was: can't wait to see what solo Durant has got.

Can he hold down the fort for 2-3 series without Westbrook ?

I wanna see dem 25 shots per game baby

I'm truly shocked at this news. I never thought he would get hurt. The guy was like I invincible. This really sucks for okc. If they repair it he will be out a while. If they remove the torn part he might come back faster.

I tore a meniscus playing soccer back in high school and while you can finish the game because the adrenaline and movement keeps it from swelling immediately, it does lock up after the game.

But the truth is you really DO NOT need surgery for a meniscus tear. It will heal on its own, fairly quickly. But doctors will recommend the surgery every time because it puts three grand in their pockets for doing an operation which takes a couple hours. And the average person has no idea about it and just trusts what the doctor recommends.

People are naive enough to believe doctors are any different than mechanics or contractors. They're out for the dough just the same. Your ignorance is their next trip to Oahu

Expected post from you. I don't even care how well Durant does or not. I just wanna see how this team bounces back without the motor and heart of the team. Martin and Jackson, I'm hoping, steps it up.
To be fair there is still ''hype'' about guys like LBJ, with some claiming he's G.O.A.T material and others not...

How is it the Heat's fault that the other teams are battling injuries? We had to deal with them last year during the playoffs just like teams are going to have to step up this year. Lets not pretend that OKC even had a chance this year anyway..

Heat picked up some great pieces over the summer while the Thunder gave away the beard for nothing.
