Default Marion's value..

How does this trade affect Marion? More points and rebounds with everything else staying about the same? He should have a larger role in Miami obviously, but will that hurt his efficiency since teams will have to focus on him more?

Check the thread below...someone already posted this. Anyway, in my opinion, it isnt good for Marion owners. You are taking an up-tempo, scrappy player and throwing him into a slow half court offense where he has to get himself free for shots and doesnt have mismatches and quite as many open lanes. He wont see the fast breaks he saw in Phoenix which means fewer open looks, fewer put backs, and fewer offensive rebounds. He also has no post game so he cant really create his own shot. I think his percentages will fall a bit...but like Benjamin said, he wont be any less than a top 10 guy. Just wont be a top 5 guy to me.
