perimeter wise, sure. it's at an all-time high. interior talent (on both sides of the ball) has however been on the decline for long time now, and as at an all-time low.

Certainly true, the league is much more international than ever before, which means there is a much larger talent pool from which to attract players.

Also, there is far more basketball knowledge available publicly, due to the easy access to video and analysis content, so players have more information available to help improve their game.

They only look more talented because the rules favor perimeter play.

Almost 1/3 of the league was tanking. 53% of the NBA has played in the D League.

The talent of today is vastly overrated.

The biggest reason why today's talent looks better is because defense isn't allowed anymore

Absolutely no resistance to the hole and chucking treys all night long

Both GWS and Houston almost hit 130 pts in their wins earlier in the WCF

Weakest era for defense, easily.

Bingo

Har_en would be a 6th man in the 90s with that turnstile defense yet he is likely this season's MVP...perfect candidate to this era

TBF, Barkley would be playing in the WNBA today and Ordan would be a borderline All-Star at best.

Did you just compare Derrick Coleman to Cousins? Take your meds, kiddo.

They were both extremely talented bigs that struggled to reach their full potential because of emotional instability. You disagree?

The fact that Ben Simmons, Donovan Mitchell and Jason Tatum are already 3 of the best players of the league already says it all.

All 3 will be All-Stars next year.

True and it's not even close. Anyone who even argues this is literally retarded.

I guess it's a style difference. All I see is layup drills and three pointers with not much resistance. The game has gotten too basic in a sense.
