Default Turkotrash

8:18 AM ET 11.05 | Hedo Turkoglu, who moved from Toronto to Phoenix in the offseason, has drawn the ire of Suns fans in a mere four games. After four minutes and 40 seconds of the third quarter Wednesday night, [Turkoglu] left the US Airways Center floor with the Suns trailing by nine and never returned in a 112-110 loss to San Antonio. ... Turkoglu will not be moved to the bench for Friday's home game with Memphis, despite some support for Hakim Warrick to take his spot. Turkoglu also will not move from his belief that he will figure out this new position and role soon.

Orlando's GM is laughing it up. It's like he was the only one who could see that Turkoglu just wasn't that good of a player. Toronto and Phoenix fell for it and ended up paying in their own ways. Portland almost fell for it but got bailed out by the Raptors offer.

seriously. we need to get over hedo now. when we sit back and diss the guy as if he ****ed our mother makes us sound bitter and sad. no point in making threads on the guy and enjoying it. we have many issues with our own players and teams. Its a good thing he left us. Lets not show everyone that we are bitter over an overpayed scrub.

I still can't believe there were actually 2 teams willing to pay him that kind of money, and especially at this stage of his career.

Making threads like this just shows you how incompetent Colangelo can be sometimes. Who would give a player of his age and skill that type of money? This European fascination has to stop.

Former Portland GM Kevin Pritchard would have.

well it was a difference of 1 or 2 million over 5 years.
Lots of teams wanted him, just not for 55 million.

i hate hedo. his personality rubs me the wrong way and i am glad to see him fail in phoenix cause his ego needed checking.

but in reality this happens to a lot of players after they turn 30.
and hedo would be a lot better on a lot of teams.
phoenix and toronto just happen to be really bad mathces for his style of play.
(by the way i think steve kerr may be the second worst gm in the league - though i give him points for not signing amare)

he would do better on sacramento or new jersey. a team that isn't so pg driven.

I agree, let's not be Cleveland here. We don't want to be put in the same boat as that sorry excuse of a fan base. He doesn't play here anymore so he doesn't matter. We need to focus on our team and who's contributing for us, not someone who couldn't give a damn about the organization anymore.
