Very nice! Screw a purple trim, 2 is enough colours.

Only problem is ezboards overall blueness

But very nice job, I am quite impressed.

If you guys are mostly going to post in a fam topic, I'm not sure it makes sense to have a forum

We won't, it will be active just like the last one at the old EZBoard. My mistake for suggesting to moving it, leaving it here is just fine. Keep up the hard work, the board will really help improve the site.

I'm not threatenng to remove the forum or anything, I'm here to SERVE THE PEOPLE and grow the board. I'm just hoping that this forum will be active and used, and not neglected because everyone is squeezing all their posts into one thread

I can almost guarentee that this forum will be full of activity, I think activity will pick up on the board because it is now so user friendly. Making this move was an upgrade on so many levels.

I say this because when new raptors fans come to this forum, if they see there's just one active topic (a fam) and then a bunch of topics that just get one or two replies per day, they'll leave.

But if they see it's a busy active forum with lots of different discussions going on, even if it's the same set of people, they're more likelty to stay

Anyway happy you guys are here and enoy the forum

Still tweaking the colors, getting rid of some of the blue-grey panels if I can

Even if the fam is in the main page, people who want to make a topic where it can be discussed without changing after a few posts will make on n the sub forum. It's just how it went before, I don't see whay it would change.

I agree, I don't think you will have to worry about new Raptor fans leaving these boards because of inactivity. However, you may want to worry about teams of other fans leaving, because I don't think there is the support for other teams like there is for the Toronto Raptors.

The forum barely grew before, because of the fam topic.

Active forums have the bulk of their talk in various topics in the forum, not all contained in one topic

Yes, finally, you expressed my thoughts perfectly. I couldn't say it any better then this. This is basically why I was pushing for a move of the FAM to the main board and then the activity of the Raptors Forum for important topics and opinions on the team can stay.

For teams with few fans, why not create a division thread? i.e.e the northwest thread? I'm chuckling about how damn big an atlantic thread would be.

I think that had more due to the lack of quality of the board, when it came to being user friendly, no dis-respect. With the new board, user activity will pick up and the forum will be much more active.

But that hurts the growth of the raptors forum

I really don't get the need for a "fam" topic at all, but if everyone wants it I'm not going to tell people they can't have it. But I don't get it, it's like, counter-productive to the reason for having a forum
