Tony Parker makes 2013-14 All-NBA Second Team
The NBA today announced that San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker was named to the league's All-NBA Second Team for the 2013-14 season. It marks Parkerís fourth overall and third consecutive All-NBA honor.
The selection marks the 39th time in team history that a Spurs player has been selected to an All-NBA team, which includes 19 First Team selections, 11 Second Team selections and nine Third Team selections. Parker joins Tim Duncan (14), David Robinson (10) and George Gervin (7) as the only Spurs players in franchise history to be named to an All-NBA team four-or-more times.
Parker was also named to the All-NBA Second Team in 2012 and 2013 and was an All-NBA Third Team selection in 2009, when he became the first European-born point guard to be named to an All-NBA team.
