One current knick to use as a franchise player...based on the choices I'd probably choose Eddy Curry. David Lee is the one player from the Knicks I would probably choose as part of building a team, but not as my centerpiece. Curry, Randolph are the only two who make sense at this point in their careers. Marbury no longer would be a franchise player.
Probably Zach Randolph. Eddy Curry comes in second. Neither is a franchise player but that's the hand the Knicks were dealt.
I'm going to assume by your avatar your a Raptors fan making a thinly veiled "Raptors roxor and Knicks sux" post. I hate to break it to you but Chris Bosh is not a franchise player either.
He's a face-up PF who's game is built around his ability to drive around slower post players. He has an extremely limited low post game and no real inbetween game if he can't all the way to the basket.
Not to say he sucks or his best days are behind him but once more and more teams recognize that they will start putting SF's with size on him and he won't do much more than he's doing currently.
Bosh will have a few more "20 and 10" seasons but he'll be a Pau Gasol type guy. Nice stats but nothing special or worth talking about outside his media market.
