I understand why Julius Randle won't be starting but I don't get it with Lin. Right now, he's a better player than Nash, and besides... Nash is 40 years old. His minutes should be reduced.

It won't last.

It's basically just Byron showing respect to Nash. But, once things get going, you'll see Lin move into the starting spot or Lin getting the bulk of the minutes/closing out games.

Nash's offense isn't nearly good enough to offset his lack of D for long stretches anymore.
