Default Why does ISH put so much emphasis on "spacing"

I've read a ton of times that D Wade will ruin the Cavs spacing. Also, ton of other examples of guys "ruining spacing" and end up being wrong about it. Why does ISH think that a guy who isn't strong at 3s ruin their spacing on the floor?

Well Cavs had one of the most explosive offenses in NBA history last post season with JR spacing the floor. He was so good at his spacing he had 18 3ís last finals. Curry had 19 , Durant 18, and Klay had 17

Wade is not an upgrade whatsoever. Cavs only problem is their terrible defense not offense

Well...when you have a pg like Rose that can't shoot 3s.
And a sf like LeBron who isn't a threat from 3
And a C like TT that isn't a threat from 3

Being a shooting guard and not being able to shoot the 3 really is detrimental to spacing tbh

And spacing matters whether you like it or not.

I dont think the spacing matters that much, the problem is that JR is also a better defender than Wade.

So basically the Cavs got worse on offense, and worse on defense for no particular reason than Wade's ego of not coming off the bench.

Then again, maybe Wade will surprise us and turn back into a great player with newfound actual championship aspirations. He was a much better player than Smith not that long ago

LeBron isn't a threat from 3?

Maybe you should pay better attention to the NBA

He's more worried about being one of the "kewl kids" that do nothing but ridicule LeBron, than actually watching the games.

He can't even name the 5 starters on the Spurs this season (his fav. team) but can tell you what games Miami lost in 2012 from memorizing box scores

Dudes completely ruined.

We paid attention in 2013 where the Greatest coach of all-time put Boris Diaw on LeBron and told him to sag off all series, giving LeBron about 2 feet of space to shoot. This is pretty much the Rondo defense.

The fact that the shit worked still boggles my mind.

Since NBA players can't even touch their opponents without getting a flagrant called on them, their last defense is their standing bodies.

Spacing gets rid of their last line of defense and leaves the offense run wild.

It ain't basketball anymore, it's just 5 players vs 5 moving pylons.

It's ruining the league by getting rid of defense altogether.

How the league isn't averaging 150ppg is astounding.

It's funny watching Lakers fans gloat on about spacing when their team undoubtably has the worst spacing in the league hands down

Complete ass from the 3 point line:
Jordan Clarkson shot 23.1%
Ingram shot 25%
Randle shot 20%
KCP shot 25%
Nance shot 0%
Kuzma has the second worst 3 point shooting percentage out of the 25 most active 3 point shooters this pre-season ~ 24.2%
