The gaming community will be expecting this game to be announced by Rockstar Games pr Rockstar North sometime soon and they are also expecting this game to be announced for the PSP/PS2 along with a release date for late 2008 or early 2009.
“…the main character is Tommy Vercetti(dude from vice city) and the game will be set in 1989, three years before San Andreas (2004) but three years after Vice City (2002), Tommy Vercetti decides that he wants to expand his business so he leaves Vice City in 1988, he leaves the city with his second in command John Denver, he sets off and he arrives in San Andreas where he sees an opportunity to gain power and money by exploiting this city for his own needs.”

It is official! There will be a GTA San Andreas Stories! I read abunch of interviews with Rockstar programmers saying that they are able to put the whole San Andreas map and more on a UMD, so that should be a problem. This will probebly be the sickest of all of them.

It's awesome that it's actually a main character from a game, instead of a B-sider like in the other two "stories". Hopefully Ray Liotta does the voice again.

Getting Liotta shouldn't be a problem 'cause it's not like he'll be shooting a movie or anything.
