Default What is Andrew Wiggins potential ceiling?

I have read Parker's ceiling is prime grant hill. I have read Wiggins floor is prime TMAC so what is his ceiling if he completely maximizes his talent?

I don't like it when people try to define a limit for a player who's under 20....

Your characterization of Wiggins' floor is ridiculous.

If Wiggins' floor is Prime TMac, then there wouldn't be a question as to who goes first.

If Wiggins guarantees you a prime TMac, then even high school LeBron has no case over him.

Wiggins' ceiling is in Wiggins himself. People far too often try to say this player has this "great's" potential. Just let the kid player basketball and turn out.

Honestly, he could become the best ever. Or he could become a huge bust. He'll end up somewhere in between, but it'll be closer to the best ever than a bust, I'd assume.

I like Wiggins. He seems intelligent to me.

Based on my intuitive understanding of who will be good in the NBA, I say he will be a superstar.

    LeBron, Durant, CP3 tier.

We'll bump this thread in 5 years and laugh at the naysayers. (If there are any)

The Parker / Grant Hill comparison is lazy. Hill was a MEGA athlete in college, Parker is just a damned good basketball player, really good, but we won't know how good until we see him in the NBA. If all goes well he could be an 8 or 10 time all star, if all goes not so well, he will be in the Danny Granger stratosphere. I think he is too good to do much worse than that. I don't see a Wesley Johnson type situation with him (duh!!!).

I really liked his first half today against Kansas, he was in front of his hometown and he stepped up. I did find his second half a bit troubling as he didn't contribute as much and couldn't turn his team around.

Wiggins / TMac comparison is also lazy but pretty apt to be honest. I do however see Wiggins as a potentially frightening pro. He is still growing into his body and still a bit awkward. Once he muscles up and smooths out, he might be at a level we rarely see.

His ability to score inside and out, on the break and off the dribble is something to be in awe of, but what impressed me most was how much his mere presence on the court affected Duke's entire defense. If Wiggins played more, this game might have been less interesting. Also, his ability to be the first one at the rim to rebound his miss is something you rarely see.

College ball is going to be awesome this year, the NCAA should suck the NBA's nuts nightly for creating the mandatory one year rule.

The body types are eerily similar.

    I don't see a Tmac.

He's great in transition without the ball and great with one step moves.
He's got freakish athletiscm but i have not seen his BBALL IQ yet.
I honestly feel Wiggins will be a better Demar Derozan. Very good player.
