Question Was it really over because he had the high ground?

Or was it really over because Anakin's arrogance consumed himself

Higher ground always has the advantage. Been proven correct for millenniums.

Not in a sabre duel. Higher ground don't mean anything in close quarter combat. Being lower makes it easier to defend

Let someone mount you....try punching them from the bottom.

now let them punch you from the top...

now see witch one has or can generate the most effective force

Had he stayed on lower ground he would have been perfectly defended. In fact it left Obi way more exposed. Anakin lost due to overconfidence and being baited to engage which left himself exposed.

he was in the air witch led him to have an opening....he couldn't properly defend his legs.

Anakin knew Obi wan was in a better position...Anakin Gambled ( to get a better position) and lost.

Anakin should have just found the natural incline of the landscape until he was level with Obi Wan.

That jump up was a bit much. I know he was on a power trip but damn, just walk up a lil hill.

One jump can destroy your legs forever. Livingston overcame but Vader could not.
