Frazier vs. Holyfield would be a craaaaaaaaaazy fight...

Re: Boxing: 70s Heavyweights vs 90s Heavyweights
Frazier is the worst possible matchup style-wise for Lewis.
Versus David Tua Lewis was able to stay on the outside & pot-shot all night long, but Frazier is a very different animal to Tua. Frazier’s hit just as hard if not harder, never tired & was very effective at wearing his man down with his bulldog style. Lewis would not back down easily & would use his strength well, targeting Frazier’s bobbing head with overhand rights & clubbing hooks to the body, but I reckon this would play out similar to the Lewis vs. Mercer battle with Joe getting, and deserving, a close decision verdict in a bruising war.

They'd both be hauled into the emergency room as soon as the fight is over

I would put Tyson over Bowe.

On what grounds? Tyson ducked Bowe. He made up a silly excuse about Bowe having a son, and he didn't want to beat Bowe in front of his kids. Bowe would have beaten him to a pulp.

Ike Ibeabuchi would have been the greatest had it not been for his silly ways. Dude was a beast.

Ike may have been even more physically gifted than Lennox. His fight against Tua might be the most entertaining heavyweight bout I have ever seen. Too bad he was completely insane.

We need the next great heavyweight.
I miss 90's boxing...

Re: Boxing: 70s Heavyweights vs 90s Heavyweights
The 90s was also the most bizarre era in that division if you look back at all of the controversy that surrounded people like Tyson and Bowe. It was never a dull moment when these two cats were involved.

Lewis is trash guys, I don't know why you're rating him that high. Plus his fake accent is atrociously bad

1. Wladimir Klitschko
2. Vitali Klitschko
3. Alexander Povetkin
4. David Haye
5. Steve Cunningham/ Tomasz Adamek

Was Vitaly at least as good as Lennox Lewis? He was winning their match before it was stopped due to cut.

Vitali is an underrated boxer. He's a better boxer, and he has a better chin than his younger brother. It sucks that the Heavyweight Division is lacking of depth, and great fighters.
Just look at this simulation games. Look at the size difference between Frazier and Vitali.

Vitali is a legit 6'7" while Frazier is 5'10".
