Daniel Thomas was the starter after week 1 on the Dolphins until he got injured two weeks ago.

He's been DECENT, which Reggie always really has been, decent RB, I'll give him credit for being versatile, but I don't know how in the hell it's a breakout season.

I look at his stat line, and the 3 games of his were good, the rest weren't very good at all, and in 2 of them, Daniel Thomas was injured (last week, and I believe they limited his carries this week because of the injury)
I'm guessing you didnt see the question mark in the title....

"Productive runner" is a vague term but if Reggie Bush is one there are certainly 50+ other guys that fit that bill. I don't think anyone's disputed that he's an capable NFL player. He's had some solid games this year and some poor games, pretty much par for his career, nothing to get excited about. Daniel Thomas is the better player once he gets past his hammy problems.

If it's a question, then why the hell are you defending him and acting like he is having a breakout year?

I can agree with this, like I said, I'm a fan but I can understand your perspective completely.

Prime, I mean GOBB seems to think that there are only a handful of productive runners in this league which wouldnt make sense when you look around the league and see so many tandem running back teams out there.

He's been building on something for the last month, with the exception of the Broncos game where he still played well.

I think that Thomas has shown very little for so many to say he's better but he has had some good games, games where he outperformed bush and they will be a good 1-2 punch.

@ Keyless He averages 9 carries a game for his career, IDK what you expect.

When was I acting like he's having a breakout year?

I reopened the topic of discussion and people starting talking BS like they usually do and I responded.

I came close to giving you a negative rep for that

And thats part of the problem. His body can barely handle any carries, if he was carrying 250+ times per season then 4.0 ypc would be fine. People call him a "game changer", "home run hitter" or "change of pace" RB, but his career long after 6 years in the NFL is only 50 yards

If his body holds up and he's given the ball enough I can easily see him approaching anywhere between 1200 to 1500 yards receiving + running.

Not trying to toot my own horn........but I knew this would happen. Bush is simply a much better player than people wanted to give him credit for being.

It may have took him 5 years to be a legit threat in the running game but he has always been a valuable player during his career whether it was in the passing game, running game, returning, etc, he's had a good impact for his career.

I think Denver should go after him this offseason if they continue to run the spread offense. They might strike gold..
