Re: What's your Go To Coffee?
I like a black coffee each morning. Favourite beans include Sumatra Mandheling and Hot Lava Java.
If I'm out and about in town I'll try to find an independent coffee shop as they're always better than chain stores however Paul's make the best highstreet coffee here in the U.K
If you want something cheaper McDonald's do a good cup of coffee at about 1/3 the price. Here in the UK they have the same coffee supplier as Pret Au Manger which is another expensive coffee shop.
I've been a fan of coffee for a good 10 years now and I've fortunately tried some of the worlds best which include Kopi Luwak and Blue Mountain. These are not the knock off or "Inspired by" that you find in stores. Kopi Luwak was bought for me as a gift by a friend who was in Jakarta at the time and I tried Blue mountain when I was last visiting extended family in the states who'd been holidaying in Jamaica.

Yeah little hole in the wall coffee shops are the best.
Starbucks has really killed a lot of those business though.
I can't do Black coffee. Has to have some sort of flavor to it.
Wawa's are a good spot for a different variety of coffee.

Re: What's your Go To Coffee?
I'll get a good cup on weekends but I normally just get whatever the house blend is at the little deli in my office building. There is a Starbucks too but I'm not a fan. Turkish coffee is pretty dope but hard to find.
Some stuff is crazy tho. I was late for work once because I stopped in a local shop that does pour overs and it took like 10 minutes and the coffee was $4 lol. Good coffee but not worth it at all.

Re: What's your Go To Coffee?
Light roast; it amazes me people universally prefer dark roast. It's hard to find good light roast.
I tried this once: http://www.peerlesscoffee.com/produc...an-kona-fancy/
I wanted some different kinda exotic shit, and it was really good. I didn't buy it again cuz the price is stupid, and I wrote them an inquiry asking them about something and they never responded. I assume their other kona blend is good, too.
I pretty much only want light roast, but what I've noticed is you can't really tell what's good coffee by the name. I usually end up with some sort of a breakfast blend, but that Kona shit was godly.
If you see Kona in a supermarket it's prolly trash, tho.

I don't drink coffee. I end up putting so much sugar into it to mask the taste that it isn't worth it. I'm more of a tea or hot chocolate person. Seeing how addicted so many of my Air Force colleagues got to that morning cup pretty much made sure I wouldn't go that route.

Instant coffee from a local market. I don't care much for brand. I chew gum and use mouth wash after. Having coffee breathe isn't fun.
If I really need an energy boost, a deli down my street makes a really strong iced coffee. Had one today and got a headache because of the strength of it.
