Re: Man Utd. accept record 94M euro bid for C. Ronaldo
ManU shouldn't spent most of their money on a striker. Berbatov, Tevez and Rooney are all world class. What they need is a great offensive midfielder that can get them the ball. David Silva, Ribery would be ideal and should be affordable with Ronaldo's transfer fee + a little extra. They probably also need a new goalkeeper with Van der Sar retiring soon. Rene Adler would probably the best pick who's also available at a decent price.

Foster is nowhere near good enough to be the GK on a CL winning team, and will never be as good as Rene Adler.
You're right about Tevez, I forgot. Benzema would be a great choice, I agree.

ManU might try to snatch a few of the dutchmen from Real Huntelaar, Snejder, Van der Vaart (and Ruud, for sentimental purposes) should improve ManU for a cheap price.

um did you forget that penalty shootout where Foster blocked like 4 out of 5 penalties? Lol he's good enough to start for England right now, and good enough for United.

Being good enough to start for England doesn't mean a thing, Germany probably has half a dozen such goalkeepers

If United has a choice between the most talented young english keeper, or paying 10 million plus for some German guy, they will play the English keeper.

It's not some German guy though, it's a 23-year-old starting for Germany's national team, whom experts see on a Casillas-level in 2 years.
btw, what about bringing back Tevez? As far as I know fans liked him, he liked ManU. His agent is asking for 30m fee reportedly.
