Transgenderism is deemed a mental illness by the medical community. Not sure why acknowledging legal and medical science would be a negative.
medical communities define it variously, as a disorder, a medical condition, a mental illness, etc. Not a legal definition
Funny that you focus on that but not the killing of gays in Uganda, the attempts to reinstate sodomy laws, you can be fired for being gay in 29 states, etc.
Look at it this way. If my family business (of which I was the CEO) was an active financial supporter of, say, pagan religious groups or white supremacy groups, what would be the reaction? This is the exact same thing.
Props to that lady for handling herself in such a calm and professional manner. I would have told him to eat shit. What a big man he is, insulting the drive-thru server about a nationwide corporations agenda. That takes real balls.
Right on. That video was ridiculous and awkward. I wanted him to not go through with it but I knew he was going to. Much respect to that employee for keeping her wits about her though.

I'm going to look up the cases about transgender persons. The one I know off hand was from the late 70s so I'll take some time to update my self on the current definition.
Also, I focused on that piece because a lot of stuff on the poster is either out of date or just silly.
Oh, I don't know if Chick Fil A donates to these groups or the CEO. There is a difference in my eyes. If he is doing it in his capacity as a private person then I have no problem with it. If he is doing through Chick Fil A then a boycott is more understandable for some, but still not me.
It seems like a lot of money to us, but really, when you look at the kind of cash these restaurants take in, 5 million is fvcking NOTHING.
Also, as a liberal, I'm embarrassed by this Chick-fil-A bullshit. I love that place, eat there all the time, and will continue to eat there. Companies have every right to donate money to whoever the fvck they want. Also, if you buy food at ANY fast food joint, your money's probably going to Monsanto, who has actively put farmers out of business. You will never buy anything anywhere that isn't "tainted" politically.
It's because they're openly and actively disparaging a group of people. Not because they're closed on Sunday douche. It's one thing for the CEO of a business to have a particular stance and keep it to yourself, it's another to yak about it in the media. Hence people will boycott if they don't agree. It's not being a militant liberal, it's being a rational person with some basic convictions.
