I wouldn't go out on that limb.
Kobe is going to have a more average season. And lol @ Kobe groupies putting up insane numbers for Kobe.

That's absolutely not going to happen, guaranteed. You're basing this on what, his preseason performance? What a dumbass and what a dumb thread...but of course garbage like this don't get deleted here.

Kobe, just a couple of months ago in the 2010 playoffs.
29 PPG/6 APG/6 RPG/1.5 SPG/ 57% TS
He ain't going nowhere.

I'd guess around 26/5/5 on 44%
Still great stats, just not as dominant as he used to be.

Yeah but he had surgery since then hasn't he?
I can't seem him dipping too much if at all still.

27/5/5 is pretty much the typical Kobe season. What are you babbling on about?

I think he will average between 24-25 ppg because he will likely start off the season slowly, and he has more help than last year. Barnes is going to be a huge addition, and he will be a better backup for Kobe than he has had in recent years.

the surgery will improve his knee. it just needs to get stronger.
he put up those numbers while dealing with an injured knee that required surgery. this was not a step backwards for him

Once you reach the peak... you can only go decline.

Re: Fact: Kobe Bryant will have his worse season since 97-98
He may have his worse season in years, but his worst season is still better than 99% of players' best seasons. So take that how you will.

Do people really not know what a fact is?

Re: Fact: Kobe Bryant will have his worse season since 97-98
I'd take Kobe on one bad knee over most shooting guards in the league. Even if he doesn't rack up as many points he still requires a defender all the time to guard him.
Kobe can also be effective as a distributor, scoring isn't his only skill.

They are babbling about Kobe's health not being "typical", therefore not to expect "typical" numbers, moron.

I see no reason for Kobe not to be healthy this year. 2010 was an aberration. Hell, he's healthy right now. He just needs to get his conditioning back up to speed. Besides, he put up 27/5/5 in 2010 and wasn't healthy for the last 4 months of the season.
