Something like 60mil/4yrs. 4th yr with a team option. Backend the money a bit into 3rd/4th year so we still have some wiggling room upcoming summer and 2019 summer.

Because the Lakers wanted to sign 2 max deals and probably wants to keep Randle, I wonder if they can offer a contract like
8 Mil-first year (to still somewhat leave enough cap room.
Then 18-20 mil, 2nd year then 23 mil 3rd year?
Paul George would rather have a teammate like Randle on his side IMO.

Can't remember who said it (sports talk radio guest) but heard that LA wasn't entertaining any offers for Randle at this years deadline that didn't include a first round pick.

Nothing about them is remotely similar.

They can make it less extreme. Say.. $12, 12, 16, 20 and get away with it. Would have to use stretch provision on Deng.

I ran the exact numbers for another post. Let me find that post tomorrow and put it on Lakers board.

They could do that if Randle wants that. Not sure he's the guy to plug up your cap sheet with when Ingram will need paying in that final year too.

I think Randle is gettable on a decent deal though, there's just so little money out there this summer.

I'm already peeved enough for losing Nance and seeing what he's capable of (which I already knew) but losing Randle would piss me off.

Every championship team needs a guy like Randle, willing to get dirty, play tough defense, finish in the paint.

They can't lose Randle unless they get a big upgrade at PF but most of the money is going to the Wings, lettuce be reality

Magic would be a fool not to give him a max contract. Dude's a SUPERSTAR in the making.

Good trade bait for Damien Lilliard. Nothing more, nothing less. Potential Green type player if he develops a dependable 3pt shot (which will take time).
