I'd be the first person to say that the Spurs with a healthy Leonard would beat the Rockets in 7.

I believe the game would be INCREDIBLY slowed down.

You realize during their winning streak the Rockets were playing with one of the slowest paces in the league, right? This team doesn't need to play up tempo to succeed.

Their play is EXTREMELY predictable. It's not built to last.

Harden/CP3 Pick n roll to get a big to switch onto them.

A) Look for lob to Capella
B) Isolation on slower big
1.) Iso to score
2.) Iso to drive and kick

Curious to know the last team that won an NBA ring while relying on an offense THAT simplistic.

Good luck though.

You don't need a complicated offense when you have two superstar guards running the show.

There's little doubt about that. The things standing in the way are 1) guaranteeing themselves a spot in the playoffs and 2) getting a seed that matches them up against someone other than the Warriors or Rockets so that they can work Kawhi back up to MJ status.

Fully healthy Spurs and an 80% Leonard beats the Rockets. Hell, I think the Spurs even if they match up with the Rockets in round 1 can upset them with Leonard at anything above 50%.

And no one said about having a complicated offense. I'm just saying that the current offense won't cut it.

Spurs need to make Derrick White their starting PG and bench Murray for a few games. Give Mills several games of rest because his shot has been MIA and he looks tired. Let White and Parker handle it.

White with 14/4 with 4 threes in spot minutes. Already a better game than Murray has had in weeks. He's poised and NBA ready.

wouldn't be a problem. houston has been playing the slowest pace in the nba since the streak started
