Arrow Celtics & Cavs fans... one question...

Are you guys afraid of facing the new look Toronto Raptors in a playoff series ?

Toronto is currently playing the best basketball out of these 3 teams and is also healthier at the moment. Looks like they will have HC too.

Sixers fan here, I hope we get the Raps in the playoffs. I don't think anybody's scared of a team lead by the trash bros.

Cavs fan here i don't think we will get past Washington in the first round if by some miracle we do we're 100% getting swept by Toronto. This Cavs team reminds me of the late 80s bulls that failed to make it out the first round.

they should be. The raptors are not the team they used to be. Lowe just wrote an article about them and it was a complete culture change. One of their new assistants before the season had practice games where corner 3's were worth 4 pts and midrange shots were worth -1 just to force them to change their offense quickly.

If the Celtics are healthy they can be the best team in the East. If the injury woes continue there's a good chance they don't go far enough to be concerned with the Raptors. Either way they aren't ready for the Warriors this season. So to my mind there's no reason to fear Toronto.

The Celtics don't matchup well against the Raptors. It take what feels like amazing games from someone on the C's to get by the Raptors. Raptors in 6-7 honestly.

If we were down 3-0 in a series against the Raptors and the score of game 4 was 100 to zip with only a minute to go, I still wouldn't be afraid of the Trash Bros and still bet my house on the Cavaliers advancing lol.

LOL it's the same Raptors.

Always on the top 4 but just a filler come playoffs.

I'm more afraid of the Heat. For some effin reasons, those heat players are always motivated when they up against the Cs.

Yeah Cs are pretty hurt if we were healthy I wouldn't be afraid my team is going to lose, just excited to watch a good series. If i were a Cavs fan I wouldn't be afraid, new team or old team. No disrespect to the Raptors, but it feels like for the past 2 or 3 postseasons LeBron easily dismantles them.

No way man... It feels nothing like our seasons of the past. We're playing a completely divergent style that brings it on both ends of the floor. Ball movement has supplanted the isolation trap that we were so heavily reliant on. Due to the enormous contributions from our bench, Lowry has been afforded an opportunity to rest and avoid injury. Everyone short of Norm has a slotted role that they excel at. I can't discount the chemistry of this team as well... These dudes clearly love playing with and for each other.

Everything about this team is different this year around.

That being said, I sadly, wouldn't be the least bit shocked if we fall to the Cavs or Celtics in the playoffs.

For a number of reasons...

I donít like the Celtics against the Raps. Raps are really hitting their stride right now and piling up wins while the Cís are trying to stay healthy and win games from behind.

Tonight's only healthy starter will be Baynes. Looking less and less like the Celtics' year.
