Default Antoine Wright's future

So I'm pretty sure we all realize Wright won't be a superstar in this league, but watching the first playoff game, I hope Wright can play like Anthony Parker. He already has the defensive prowess, but if he can consistently knock down the open 3 like Parker, he could be a huge help off the bench. He has a good attitude, so I'm pretty sure his jump shot could improve in a year or two.

haha Wright shooting 3's? Very rare. Hes more of a drive to the hoop kinda guy.

Wright was supposedly one of the best shooters in college when we drafted him and wasn't known as much for attacking the rim. I remember thinking it was weird that he was such a good shooter, but was horrible at free throws.

I like it when he fakes the 3 the defender jumps and he steps in and shoots a long 2

the Nets have not picked up the team option yet for his 3rd and 4th years, but I can see it happening. his confidence has soared lately and I was thoroughly impressed at how he handled the little PT he got in Game 1. took it strong to the hole on a few attempts with Carter like circus attempts.

I just remember that in game one he had this sick bank shot with the defender all over him...anyone know if that was a fluke?

Lol My pre-season prediction for MIP was Wright because of how hard he worked in the summer. I wish he would have more of those 10-16 point games he had in the beginning of the season

He may be a good defender but not a great shooter. He's average at best.

he seems like a nice young man and hard worker whose confidence wavers at times, but is smart enough to realise his limitations.

sometimes those kinds of players turn into the most valuable of sixth men and character guys in the league. those things are extremely valuable to good teams.

i say give him one more year- he's worth it IMO.
