I think the more important thing is to score more than 10 points in the fourth freakin quarter.
I mean...the defense all game was very solid. even when we werent scoring, we got the rebounds, went the other way and just kept missing.
If we play defense like we did on Sunday (with the exception of smush's prescense) and just keep scoring...We're gonna win the fukcing series.
That article gave you too much hope. All season long the Suns defense has been clamping down in the 4th quarter.
Anyways both teams will make adjustments and I actually see this game being very high scoring. If you guys intend to win you better hope you have a lot of 2nd chance points which is the Suns achellis heel. We will see!

Well if you remember game 1...lakers got away with sooooooooo many offensive rebounds and scored off of those so what you are saying is absolutely accurate.
I just hope we can have that same hustling game and get those offensive boards.
also a message to Phil, when Bynum is hot, keep him in...any scoring is valuable.
Honestly though statman...the defense was nothing more than average in the fourth. It wasn't detroit or San Antonio defense.
I think hard fouls and intensity on both sides of the court are important. Just watch the GS/Mavs film from last game. There were hard fouls and incredible intensity by the Warriors.
Just slow the game down by driving the ball to the hole. Kwame, missed good opporunity Sunday hope he get himself under control even if he's still injury. Control the paint is a must to win this series. We played ok defense(C+) should step it up a bit.
Blur wants to take it to the hole every time. gotta back off him a little and dare him to shoot outside (which he is pretty good at), but it will keep him away from layups and the FT line.
I'll still take that over Smush "After you sir" Parker guarding him.
you realize smush played all of 4 minutes today?
At some point we gotta stop blaming everything on that guy and look at the reality. lakers defense sucks. Even when we were winning it wasn't that great. Blame the coaches for that one, not smush.
The Lakers don't have that physical player anymore. I mean, the Lakers need that player that when someone comes into that lane....they are going to remember. I wish Dennis Rodman was still around or a Charles Oakley. Or Maurice Lucas, the realy great physical players.
You guys should actually focus on getting more offensive boards. Against the Suns that is the most important thing.
To beat the Suns, after a made basket, all you have to do is send someone right to Steve Nash. Why? Simple, Suns take the ball out right away, don't even take more then a second most of the time, and to who? Nash who pushes it up court, now if someone goes right to Nash, it forces the Suns other players to come up, set screens or someone else get it, thus slowing the pace of the game down and not giving the Suns a quick counter attack chance. I don't get why no one does this, Mike Dunleavy did in the last game against the Suns, yet, no one else does? And Dunleavy is an idiot compared to Phil Jackson, weird
