Gortat has looked good when I've seen him and think we might take the contract if we gave up very little to get him, just because of his deal we shouldn't kind of chase him but maybe can work something even and fair out and have our back-up PF. He was very good in the EuroBasket finals in the summer for Poland I think it was. I remember watching him and he stood out big time in the game I watched, plus in highlights of other games. Sure the competition is lower but if the good players stand out that's all u can ask of them and there are some good teams like Spain, Italy, and France now with good teams not just the odd great player. Just shame my British team was missing all our NBA guys this time round since we finally qualified but got walked all over
I'd love to have seen how Ben Gordon (if actually finally plays for us but think he's waiting for 2012 olympics to decide, I think he could run the point like he did in college with Conneticut *sp* where obviously won national title with Okafor), Azubuike (solid Golden State SG), Deng (who's been immense for us qualifying), Mesah-Bonsu (PF/C bouncing around at NBA level but with Raptors now) and some rather average Euro-League rotation guys did against Euro teams but everybody was out injured it seemed.
