Hard to say after a month into the season, BUT if Ben has anymore games where he gets no points and rebounds then there is an issue. Also let the man wear a headband, Paxon is a dictator!!!

It was a good idea to trade Chandler. He gets into foul trouble and hard to keep him in games. He don't have good hands to be able to catch a pass down low. I think he has reached his potential. Just avgerage role player.

I agree he does have a huge conract. Big Ben also has three 'Defensive Player of the Year' awards, he can also pass down his knowledge/experiences to Tyrus.

I'm glad he's gone. There's no way we could of signed Deng/Noc/Kirk/BG if we kept Tyson. Tyson wouldn't put these numbers up if he stayed. He even said how he stopped trying to learn in Chicago.

Mustang...you couldn't have said it any better!! Big Ben got his money..and he brings championship experience with him. You can't teach that. He's the mentor we needed for Tyrus Thomas. Chandler still has learning to do and couldn't offer much to Tyrus as far as experience is concerned. Wallace also has earned respect from the referees and from players around the league. It's all well worth it. Tyson, I believe, will do great with the Hornets. It's too bad he couldn't have done it here. Like Mustang said, most importantly, we can now extend BG, Hinrich, Deng and hopefully Nocioni. That is our core...and basically most of our offense. The Bulls will be fine..be patient everyone!!! Now let's see if we can get something for P.J. Brown and his expiring contract.

BW..back to back 20 rebounds!!!

Ben just picked up 27 boards last night, plays 40+ minutes every night, and brings some toughness to a young team. Tyson Chandler will be better, but there was too much pressure on him here, and he gets in foul trouble WAAAAAY more than Ben. Ben gives us a player the refs have to respect, and a helluva lot of experience to this young squad. Tyson will not bring any leadership or help settle the team down come playoff time. And being able to resign our other young players was more critical at this point. Plus, Tyrus is getting better every game and I'm sure we'll be drafting a big with the Knick's pick.

I agree, plus we got the guy Tyson should have been: Tyrus Thomas.
