Default what's your franchise/assoc. strategy in nba live/2k7?

how do you make your team better and make sure they're on top every year?

i always make sure that i sign free agents who are overall 72-75 and around 21-23 years old.. it gives me alotta time to work with them so in the future when my star players are worn out they can take charge. example- i have a player, ake ikedia who i signed 3 years ago when he was 22 YO at a 75 overall, now he's 25 YO with an 86 overall and as good as my first pick i had traded for, and the same age. right now my lineup consists of kobe (32 YO), devin harris, channing frye, yao ming and ikedia.

all you have to do to win is sign a point guard that can shoot

I just pass the ball to Bosh and let him dunk the crap out of the other team.

PG- Quick, decent shooter, lock down D
SG- 3 point specialist
SF- Athletic scorer
PF- good rebounder, being able to block is a plus
C- Same as PF but has to be able to block.

on 2007 i love the Sonics, Ridnour/Watson do exactly what i want them to and knock down the 15 footers when they are open and rashard and allen on the wings are just scary wilcox will dunk on anyone and Swift will throw anyone's **** that comes inside. I just wish Swift had played this year the sonics would be alot better and everyone would know that Swift is legit his skill set is identical to Dalembert.

On franchise i always stay young.... i dont care if the guy is an 88 or something if he's 36. He's not going to help me with his huge contract when he's sitting on the bench regressing. I trade the older more talented guys for guys in their 20's. And i try and trade for expiring contracts early so i can make a good FA signing in the first year or two... once your young guys progress and want a new contract you'll never have enough salary cap space to make a good signing.
