The main reason I don't/won't delete my facebook is because it is the only way I connect with old friends and family that lives in other places

I'd be devastated to know longer know when they are tired, doing laundry, or dreading Monday.

I mainly use my facebook to check out events, as I have added several pages that update about shit going on in Los Angeles....also, several pages I have on there, are about items, companies, comedians, etc.....so most updates are keeping me up to date on random nonsense.

What I dont care for, however...is reading the constant updates of females, telling everyone that they're home......and going to sleep. Okay?

Or, they're thirsty. Okay?

Or the infamous vague, and mysterious update where NO ONE but the person posting it understands it.

"I knew it was too good to be true" (was an actual update)

So of course, everyone had to give her attention, and ASK her wtf was up.

I generally delete, or block people like that, since i know them, but i dont want to read their updates.

I stay in touch with a lot of friends from back east as well.

With that being said.....I have a variety of reasons for deleting someone, but for the most part if i delete you, then chances are, i dont give a shit about your "friendship" so yeah....take it how you will.

This is not true. I actually have two buddies who passed away who's accounts are still active. I'd notify the family but I'd feel akward doing it.

Don't jump to conclusions just yet. First thing I would do is maybe message a mutual friend and see if he got the same thing.

There are functions where you can hide your account from everybody. I have friends that have done so, it doesn't mean you're deleted. Maybe this person is just shutting himself off from the world but doesn't want to loose the connections. You can still view profiles without people viewing yours.

In any case, if he's still cool with you in real life then there's probably a legit reason. Could be somebody else doesn't like you and out of respect has deleted your account. His GF possibly? Or he's probably just keeping a short list. Like people said, we barely communicate with most of our FB friends, he probably wanted to trim it down. I've beeen in situations where I had parties and sent out invites. I have over 500+ friends on FB. I keep the list short but am bound to leave a few people out.

If in the end he did in fact delete you for purposes of like liking you then brush it off. At least you know the thruth and don't feel obligated to be nice.

I'll keep em on for a while to see if it actually grows into a legit friendship. Sometimes it does, but when it doesn't I just delete them.
Right on, I'm with you on this one. Well said.

Maybe because you're using facebook to complain instead of going to a therapist?
