Default BlazerDozen's 2009 NBA Mock Draft!

Los Angeles Clippers - Blake Griffin
He will be traded

Memphis Grizzlies - Jordan Hill
Memphis is already set for the future at PG, SG, SF and C. Time for that PF

Oklahoma City Thunder - Hasheem Thabeet
He will fill out the Thunder's future, except he'll be a bust

Sacramento Kings - Ricky Rubio
The Kings only have an old Bobby Jackson and a failed project in Beno Udrih at PG

Washington Wizards - James Harden
They could really use a guard who can create his own shot and get to the rim at ease

Minnesota Timberwolves - DeMar DeRozan
There are no quality big men at this point in the draft so the T-Wolves add an athletic two guard

Golden State Warriors - Brandon Jennings
The perfect fit for Jennings where his defense will surely be needed and all the jump shooters will open lanes for his lay up drills

New York Knicks - Gerald Henderson
Sorry Knick fans but I think that Henderson's all around athletic game, size, strength and ability to finish move him higher up MD's list than Stephen Curry

Toronto - Stephen Curry
Toronto deffintly needs instant offense off the bench as well as a back up point guard. Jose Calderon starting will allow Curry to work on his PG game

Milwaukee - James Johnson
This would be the perfect compliment to Ramon Sessions. Johnson moves very well without the ball, can shoot from anywhere on the court and has good handles

New Jersey Nets - Earl Clark
The Nets could easily field a Orlando Magicesque team with Clark at SF and Yi at PF. Two guys who can open things up for Devin Harris, Vince Carter and Brook Lopez. Clark is basically Rashard Lewis without the great range.

Charlotte Bobcats - Chase Budinger
The Bobcats could really use the athletic ability and scoring ability of Budinger off the bench and fill some depth at the 2.

Indiana Pacers - Eric Maynor
They lost out on Jerryd Bayless last season, perhaps to have a chance at this guy. Jamaal Tinsley is as good as gone, and Jarrett Jack is basically a shooting guard. He fits right in as that distributer on the bench.

Phoenix Suns - Jonny Flynn
Would be a great back up to Steve Nash and with the toutaledge of Nash, could become a great point guard. I don't see the Suns ready to have Leandro Barbosa play many minutes at the point.

Detroit Pistons - Wayne Ellington
Ellington is what the Pistons need off the bench, a pure scorer. Is there anything else that needs to be said about this guy?

Chicago Bulls - Tyreke Evans
The Bulls draft another Memphis product. They have a lot of shooters so now it's time to add some guys who can take advantage of the lanes that are being open through those shooters. This also makes Ben Gordon expendable.

Philadelphia 76ers - Jrue Holiday
This guy has the best range out of any of the point guards or combo guards left. He also has decent decision making skills and should only getting better while potentially playing with Andre Miller. They need a guy like this if they ever want the Elton Brand thing to work out.

Minnesota Timberwolves - BJ Mullens
He has great post moves and works hard in the paint to get rebounds. The only thing is he doesn't show up every night but he doesn't need to with Al Jefferson and Kevin Love in the same rotation.

Atlanta Hawks - Ty Lawson
The Hawks could really use Lawson's awesome speed to create some fastbreak oppurtunities off the bench since their bench is so weak and their wings are so small off the bench. Use that speed of Murray and Evans to their advantage with Lawson leading the break.

Utah Jazz - Jeff Teague
The Jazz could use Teague as a fast break guy which should really help the Jazz bench since they have so many athletes. He needs to work on his outside shooting but it'll be hidden with Korver off the bench.

New Orleans Hornets - DeJuan Blair
The Hornets desperatly need a post guy who won't take any **** from anybody and who can seriously bang and be physical every night.

Dallas Mavericks - Omri Casspi
What other reason than he's a Euro and they have a hole at small forward?

Sacramento Kings - Gani Lawal
This guy can play center for the Kings and take over the void left by Mikki Moore and Brad Miller. He's only 6'9" but he has a 7'0" wingspan and I think could be yet another steal by the Kings.

Portland Trail Blazers - Tyler Hansbrough
Kevin Pritchard loves to draft players who have been in college for awhile and who are smart basketball players. Perfect fit for the both of them.

Oklahoma City Thunder - Terrence Williams
This guy would be perfect next to the outside shooting of Kevin Durant and with Russell Westbrook on the break. He's going to dominate the NBA in the future

Chicago Bulls - Taj Gibson
Imagine Tyrus Thomas goes to the bench just to be replaced by another athletic freak. Nuff said.

Memphis Grizzlies - Patrick Mills
They get their back up point guard and possible future point guard. Mills has the whole package and would be dangerous on the break with Hakim Warrick by his side

Minnesota Timberwolves - Derrick Brown
Would be a good fit on the Timberwolves athletic, get to the paint, bench. He's a good outside shooter which could be dangerous off that bench.

Los Angeles Lakers - Sam Young
What a steal for the Lakers. They could possibly lose Trevor Ariza but pick up a stud in Young in the draft. That could make the loss become slightly easier to handle.

Cleveland Cavaliers - DaJuan Summers
This guy will add size to the Cavs bench and should fill in well for the void that Wally World will leave at the end of the season.
