Re: Is cracker considered a racist word?
There are no good racist words for white people, I feel worse for the person who says them than for myself when I hear them
What can you really say about white people though? good looking? successful? intelligent? How can you make those into insults?

"Cracker" means whip-cracker. It's not inherently racial.

Any word with the wrong intent and/or body language behind it can be offensive, but there are generally no racial slurs that white people find very offensive, since we don't harbor the insecurities many others do.

I don't like how other countries can be labelled racist for using words or themes that have no inherent racism in that country.

There's plenty of racial slurs for different white groups. Maybe not all white people in one big group but I'm sure there's plenty of white immigrants like the polish, irish, italians, germans, russians etc who have plenty of racial slurs people have used against them. My grandpa was hugely offended when the term "wog" was being thrown around as a comic term here in Australia, when he first came here if someone called him that it'd end in a fight.

If it's aimed at white people, no it is not racist.
