Default Al Thornton

Playing great, 31 points and 10 rebounds tonight. In shape, something he should of been at training camp, but oh well. Finally doing what everyone wanted, attacking the basket, playing solid defense, not taking bad shots, getting out in the break and finishing, hitting foul shots. Hopefully he keeps it up, only thing he still needs to work on is his confidence with outside shot, he passes on open shots too much. Also great game for Telfair, and Camby with the nice 18 rebounds.

I like that he is not going for his long shot. Lets be honest, its not very good. He is better off doing what he is doing now and that's playing near the rim and getting easy looks off putbacks and layups. He is much better control than he has been and he is looking very comfortable out there. I have been a big Al doubter since last year, but he is slowly gaining my trust back and I really hope he continues to grow. He has potential to be a great defender as well.

He's finally using the athleticism that he has and its working, what a surprise. That has always been my biggest problem with him. I never understood why he'd take fadeaway 18 footers over Korver, Walton and so on. I just hope he can continue this production when Gordon returns since he won't be getting as many touches.

Went to the game, was great. Participated in a couple of Fire Dunleavy chants, chanted MVP for Kaman in the first quarter, and watched Al Thornton and Sebastian Telfair carry our team.
