Default Expectations for 2007-2008 Season?

I think if we have everyone healthy, we can be a serious threat in the East. It is wide open, Detroit is unsteady, Miami is unsure as well. Cleveland is still learning. Washington could make a serious push for the ECF.

I predict a 53-29 record for us barring injuries.

Arenas would likely put up 28/6/7

what is everyone else's opinion?

What is any different for this team that makes you think they will improve to 50+ wins?

I dont see them improving much more on this season, they may even take a step back if the rest of the East gets a little stronger.

maybe a healthy team? they were tops in the east at all star break, if butler and arenas did not go down, we would have gotten at least 50.

If the Wizards are HEALTHY, they are a 50 win team.

But they still need a big man.

Everyone needs to stop crying that the Wiz don't have a big man. There are no more than 10 legit low post, back to the basket, pure big men in the league. With that said, we are fortunate that we have two legit prospects in O.P. and Blatche. What can help out big man problem is some better perimeter defense. Let's face it, as good as Gil is he ain't setting the league on fire with his defense, nor is Antawn. Tough Juice Caron is the only one of the starting five that comes to play defense every nite and Stevenson at least will give effort.

I would be happy if Etan and Brendan would use their six fouls between every night just to make an effort. Unless Ernie G can move Brendan, and he has to go for another big, we are going to have to count on the low post effort coming from our two young bigs O.P. and Blatche and whatever we can get from the rest.

The Wiz could easily make the Finals but getting a big man would make it a lock!!!!

The bench is a lot deeper. That's how we get to 50 wins.
