Actually the exact opposite. Pierce and Doc both said they tried to limit Wade but just couldn't do it.

There were some great video breakdowns showing that they actually tried all of the same things on Wade as they did Kobe. Wade was just too quick and decisive for the defense to get set.

There was one play that was literally the exact same situation. Wade's play on a hedge double ended with a dunk on KG. Kobe's play ended in a turnover.

Literally the exact same screen and roll scenario.

Who knows what will happen this year, but Wade lit the Celtics up last year and was significantly better than both Lebron and Kobe against the same team.
