BTW, do you know Vegas won't honor over / under bets on Pacers or Celtics because the rules stipulate it's out of 82 games?

Prigioni turned ankle badly. Lying in pain. Got up and walked off court by himself though, limping.

Fact that he walked off himself is a good sign, but still......

X-rays were negative. Will not return. Hopefully he'll be available for game 1 though.

I was going to do a long post on this...I still will...but my idea is similar to baseball....

In baseball, teams expand rosters from 25 to 40 for last month of season. I think NBA should do same thing...expand rosters from 15 to 17, for last 15 games or so. Just for situations like tonight.

It's actually awful in baseball because it changes the game because it makes the bullpens too big and removes strategy. For Basketball though where putting crappy players, even tons of them doesn't help win games it would work perfectly. Why not? Plus you could play your d-league guys.

Knicks play some of their best basketball when Prigioni is on the floor running the point, his playmaking is leaps and bounds ahead of Felton (as Woodson has alluded to earlier in the season).

The injury bug is hitting the Knicks (again) at the worst time...
