2011 Lebron was a net 0 for his team. He deferred to Wade much of the time and passed the ball up too much. And ended up with 7 assists per game.

2004 Kobe was a net negative for his team. 22.6 points per game on 25 true shots (compared to Lebron's 17.8 ppg on 17 true shots) with only 4 assists per game.

But the Lakers were falling apart (Malone injury) and Kobe had already had a weak and disorienting postseason (for obvious reasons). It was disastrous but at least explainable.

kobe atleast tried.. but his injuries all year and team turmoil caught up. it actually helped kobes career more than any other instance since it gave him his own team and a legendary career without shaq

2001- 6 ppg drop from WCF ppg of 30 to 24 ppg in the Finals, shoots 41%

2004- WOAT choke, 22 points on 38% shooting, takes 30 more shots than Shaq, but makes 10 less FG's

2008- Not that bad, but 25.7 ppg on 40.5% FG isnt exactly noteworthy.
Kobe had the worst plus-minus on the team in the closeout Game 6 (-35)


2009- Good Finals, but his stats are due to statpadding in Game 1 by not leaving in the 4th quarter. He shot below 40% overall in the 4th quarters


2010- 6/24, Pau Gasol was better

Disagree on LeBron just being a 0 but I agree on the assessment of his play. You're right about how he played but I think that he deserves additional blame for not stepping up the way he should have. Poor 4th quarter performances, he was the best player on that team but didn't play like it. He had an efficient series, sure, but it wasn't what he was capable of and (imo) him not being the player he could be was what cost them the series.

LeBron was too passive, Kobe was too aggressive, both to the detriment of their teams. I kinda look at it like two sides of a coin. Agreed that Kobe played worse though.

I can tell when a moron didn't really watch games, instead go zip to the past and just click boxscores, cause if u watched that finals vs Pacers you would have seen the importance of Kobes defensive impact aswell as his key clutch moments when Shaq was tired/in foul trouble.
