Default Are the spurs the deepest team in the league?

The amount of options they seem to have is endless. Even guys like Mills can give you 20 off the bench. We all saw what green did last year in the finals too. As old as the spurs big 3 are its their young guys who keep getting better and better.

Yes and no. There are more talented benches, but those benches aren't coached as well.

[COLOR=Teal]Popovich plays his bench a lot of minutes to conserve his starters' energy. He sacrifices some games in the regular season in order to build his bench player's confidence and chemistry. Considering his methodology it's amazing how he wound up with the best record as well.

Other coaches might be better in certain aspects, but no one is anywhere near as complete as a coach: developing talent, building a team-focused culture, maintaining chemistry, motivating his players, x's & o's, managing minutes, subbing, reading the game and knowing when to take a timeout and how to adjust on the fly.

This Spurs team has very good depth, but Popovich (plus Buford) is the difference-maker.

I know you're trolling but I don't think any team that plays Fisher extended minutes qualifies as stacked

I think Clippers are more stacked top to bottom, Spurs second. Spurs are better coached though.

We are the least deep team in the league

IMHO, they are a really deep team, right after Indiana and Clippers.

indiana isnt deep. Clippers are deep but not like the spurs. Clippers have star power in CP3 and Griffin who can take over. Were a system where in crunch time we dont always use our best players.

Yeah between the Spurs and the Clippers. Holy crap!! The Clippers and Spurs pull a player off the bench and let that bench player go for 12-15 minutes and produce. That is deep right there.

on what merit? Ray Allen has been the only thing close to a consistent bench performer, maybe Birdman to a degree...Cole and Andersen going off last night is few and far between.

everyone else on the bench has yet to impress me...I expected WAY more from Beasley this season knowing he is in a no-pressure role, and could have somewhat of a green-light when given the chance to show his worth. failed that just as he fails drug tests

    hes a non kobe fcktard
Heat are barely top 5 deepest teams. the bench is horseshit most of the time.
Spurs and OKC are the deepest teams by far.Spurs bench is just perfectly coached and OKC bench just random players who go off at any time.
they have someone going off all the time and Reggie Jackson has 13 PPG from the bench and already saved durants season a few times this post season.
then come the Clippers and Indiana and then the Heat
