What are your team and player observations so far?

Who on the team is playing better than expected? (And what's better about them?)

And who has been disappointing?

And, how about the team as a whole, what are the key needs now that we're a month and a half into the season?

Mmmmmm .. not everyones gonna agree with this, but ...
Start to get the old guys out, the possibilty of a sheed trade really sounds good to me, but then again he's cap.. Start building up to a whole new team revolving around Stuckey/Afflalo. Buy someone YOUNG, that hasn't already primed with our cap space. I don't think we should re-sign Iverson .. I'm a huge fan of his, but having him and Stuck on the floor just doesn't seem right, they both like to dominate the ball and have it in their hands at all times. And I don't think either or them should be starting on the bench either.

Afflalo's done alot better than I ever would have expected . . . he's defense is legit, he's great at finding the open man, and he can hit 3's great.

I guess Sheed's been a disappointment to me. Don't get me wrong, when he's doing good, HE'S DOING GOOD. It's just that he isn't always fully in the game.

Also, Pistons fans, is it me, or has Curry been playin' Bynum a bit too much the past few games? Bynums doing good, it's just that Stuckeys been doing GREAT. I guess we got alot of guards and he's trying to use them all, but I don't know, I guess I think Stuck deserves more minutes out there than he's getting.

Walter Herrmann is an akward baller, but a baller nonethaless. He deserves every minute he gets if not more.

honestly, the only player Im not disappointed in is Prince. I am done with sheed and am looking forward to this team not being dominated by his petulant attitude. Live by sheed, die by sheed. Just get rid of sheed.

Herrmann has looked good occasionally, but he shoots too many 3s. Id like to see him at the 4 more where his around the basket game could be more effectively utilized. I cant stand the big man rotation right now. Where's Amir? He may make some mistakes, but this team was better with him starting IMO.

We are getting killed on the boards and in the paint. Why the hell are we still small balling? Id like to see stuck and rip start with tay amir and sheed up front (or stuck, rip, ai, max, sheed with tay the first off the bench for any spot).

Very disappointing season so far. turn it around boyos.

This entire season has been a disappointment to me. I guess it's a rebuilding year (and maybe even next year too). I'd love to see Stuckey get the opportunity to lead the team. Maybe next year if they don't resign Iverson. I really think the team would be better off having AI come off the bench as a scoring spark. I guess AI is the biggest dissappointment to me because I know if we had Chauncey we would have a better record. I hate to blame it on one player but he definately deserves most of the blame.
