Default Kwame Brown will be back… Summer league roster.

Kwame had to make his decision today and has opted to stay for the final and second year of his contract.

also, the summer league roster has been announced:

•The Pistons summer-league roster is nearly set with the drafting of forwards Austin Daye, DaJuan Summers and Jonas Jerebko. Point guard Will Bynum and Walter Sharpe are expected to play, as well as second-round picks from 2008, guard Deron Washington and big man Trent Plaisted. Rounding out the roster are free agents Dwyane Jones, a center, point guard Ibrahim Jabeer and shooting guard Clay Tucker.

frankly, Im glad hes back. Hes better than any backup center we wouldve gotten on top of the 2 bigs we will already need to replace.

we are not signing a starting pf and center and gortat as a backup. cmon now. be reasonable. We will be lucky to get one top quality frontcourt player and someone closer to kwames level. as a decent backup big who plays solid D, 4 mil a year is hard to beat.

I don't think his D is all that solid. I think people over rate that based on his size. He doesn't do the best job staying in front of people or getting back on D. Plus he is really turn over prone. It is what it is.

It looks like Boozer could be more expensive than what we thought too. It might take 15 million per year to get him. With that kind of price we won't be signing too much. I was hoping for 10 or 11, heck maybe 12. I'd rather suck this year and then go after Bosh when he's a FA.
